The own home seems to be the most secure place for us, where we feel safe and comfortable. However, the most common place for accidents and fatal injuries is exactly our homes. And the most common reason is falling. Userinterviews within the project showed that people mostly even own a ladder - they are just to lazy to use it. That's why this project proposes an origamiladder that is fitting neatly into the kitchen, so that it it always in reach when needed.
